We woke up among the vines and headed down the road again…I find it amazing to watch rain falling from the clouds to quench the parched earth yet so far in the distance I don’t get wet!
Afternoon was spent at the equivalent of a drive through zoo, Bearizona!
It was raining off and on so pardon the blurry spots on the images
Of course some people can’t follow directions
They all tell you DO NOT STOP this vehicle in front felt the rules didn’t apply, ended up with bears crawling all over the car. With cameras everywhere, rangers arrived quickly to move us all along man & beast!

They also had Bison, Burros, Deer, Elk and Wolves
Walking section had some interesting carvings…
Rain settled in so we headed to the Grand Canyon Distillery in Williams, AZ for dinner. (Spoiler alert for where we are heading tomorrow!) I had a lovely cocktail and Vernon had one of the brews they make on site.
Ohhh yeh, temperature here much milder, especially after the rain.
